Montana Beeson

After majoring in Genetics and Cell Biology at University of Minnesota, Montana worked for a year in a Grant Proposal Preparation office, communicating with federal agencies and learning the intricacies of different applications. Following a successful grant award, she began working in the recipient investigator’s lab as a Researcher. The research focused on iron deficiency in the developing brain and a novel peptide implicated in many neuropathologies including schizophrenia, addiction, and Alzheimer's.

In 2021, Montana started her first year of law school at University of Wisconsin Law School interested in intellectual property law. She joined the Intellectual Property Society as a 1L Representative and was elected Vice President for the 2022-23 Academic Year.

Montana brings to Calyx Law a strong scientific background and enthusiasm for learning and hard work.

For fun, Montana likes to backpack, bake strawberry-rhubarb pies, and go for runs.
